Buddhist Mobilization Project (BuMP) Sanghas agree on some basic values:
  1. We believe we are interdependent with all being, so compassionate action is not separate from looking after our own welfare.
  2. We believe that all people have equal and inherent value and dignity and deserve the opportunity to thrive and live lives of self-determination.
  3. We believe that humankind must learn to live sustainably and in harmony with nature.
  4. We believe the reports of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC), that we are in the middle of a climate and ecological emergency, and that - among other things - we have to work toward a just phase-out of all fossil fuels.
  5. We believe that healthy democracies are the best form of government for ensuring the long-term wellbeing of life on this planet.
